Christmas lights tour/contest under way in Temple
Get read for Temple’s inaugural Merry & Bright Holiday Lights Tour & Contest.
Temple residents are encouraged to decorate the exterior of their homes, and submit a photo and their address at templetx.gov/holidaylights.
After the submission deadline, community members may tour the homes using an interactive digital map provided by the city of Temple and vote for their favorite online.
The winner of the contest will be presented with an award by Mayor Tim Davis.
Submissions will be accepted through Wednesday, Nov. 30. Voting will open on Thursday, Dec. 1, until Monday, Dec. 12. The contest winner will receive their award at the City Council Meeting on Thursday, Dec. 15.
