Salado Christmas Stroll
Holiday cheer will be piled high in Salado during the first two weeks in December. The merriment begins at 6 p.m. on Dec. 1 with the 2022 Salado Lighted Christmas Parade. This is the kickoff event for the Christmas Stroll. The parade will start at the intersection of Royal and Main, runs north along Main and ends at the Salado Civic Center, 671 N. Main. Sidewalks will be lit for the entire route — just bring a chair and a smile. Parking will be available at First Baptist Church, Brookshires and along side streets. The Salado Christmas Stroll kicks into high gear on Dec. 2 with late-night shopping, crafts, carriage rides, photos with Santa and live music. Be sure to roast your own S’mores at 5 p.m. at Salado Church of Christ. There will be live music and more throughout Salado. For details, visit www.business.salado.com. Dec. 2 also marks the opening performance of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The production will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Tablerock. The Salado Christmas Stroll will run Dec. 2-4 and 9-11. A Christmas Carol will be featured Dec. 2-3 and 9-10.
